Our Story

So, picture this: a casual day on Facebook, a friend request, and a cheeky compliment about being ‘fit’ – that’s where it all began. From those first words, conversations started flowing, and before we knew it, we were planning our lives together.

Our first date planned in Manchester was an adventure in itself. Turtle Bay was on the agenda, but thanks to a taxi detour, we ended up in Bolton, costing Jordan a cool £80 for a pasta dinner at Prezzo. Classy, right?

Fast forward two years, and we’ve weathered the storms, enjoyed the highs, and made countless memories. We got engaged a year ago, and amidst the rollercoaster of emotions, family holidays, and romantic beach proposals, we’ve become a tight-knit crew.

During a family holiday to Robin Hood, Lyons, a surprise beach proposal unfolded. With my eyes covered by my mum’s cardigan (at a very pregnant 20 weeks), Jordan led me to a spot surrounded by roses, dropped to one knee, and popped the question. Cue the tears and a resounding YES! (video below!)

Our family now includes two little bundles of joy – Carter Joel, a lively 4-year-old, and Hudson-Thomas, our 11-month-old charmer. Oh, and Teddy, our miniature poodle, completes the furry part of our crew.

With Jordan working hard and Kim taking care of the little ones at home, we strive to create a perfect balance for our family. We’ve had our fair share of ups and downs, but the memories we share keep us going. Our family may be complete for now, but who knows? There may be room for one more little addition in the future. Fingers crossed for a girl this time!

Here’s to making more memories and cherishing every moment as a family.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a dress code?

While there isn’t a strict dress code, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing green or white, as these are the chosen colours for the wedding party. Feel free to express your style and join us in celebrating our special day!

Are children or plus ones allowed?

Absolutely! Children are more than welcome, and you’re welcome to bring a plus one. To help us plan accordingly, please inform the bride or groom beforehand if you plan to bring a guest. However, if you have already been invited as a couple, there’s no need to worry about a plus one. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

When should we arrive?

If you’re invited to the ceremony at the registrar’s office, please aim to arrive before the bride at all costs. Please be seated by 1:30 pm. The ceremony will begin at 2pm.

For the reception, we kindly ask you to be there by 3pm, ensuring you’re present before the bride and groom start the festivities.

When should I RSVP by?

Please let us know by June, so we can make sure there’s enough fun to go around!
